RIPPLE ET AL 4,677,902 shows a jigsaw puzzle 10, FIG 3, having a play piece 20, FIG 6, sprayed with a magnetic layer 22 and a metallic playing surface 18 (see col 2, Lns 20-23).

TAKEMASA 4,913,034 shows an enlarged distal chamber 25, FIG 1, where additional vortex action is generated, and a removable skirt 23, FIG 2.

SHIELDS ET AL 3,722,182 shows an electrical field established at the surface of a substrate 10 by a high voltage AC source 16, FIG 4, a high intensity diode laser 18, and an infrared detector 24.

GRIEF 4,813,344 shows bits in an instruction-address register output signal that (a) are decoded to create logic operation-defining signals, (b) are used to select a particular bit of a word as a logic operand, and (c) are used as an address to select and obtain from memory a word which contains that bit (col. 2, Lns. 55-65).

SATO ET AL 4,722,264 shows detoxification of asbestos by (1) adding concentrated sulfuric acid to asbestos (resulting in loosening, breakage and partial decomposition of asbestos and detachment of the asbestos from a solid object), (2) adding a lower concentration of sulfuric acid to the partially decomposed asbestos (resulting in total decomposition), (3) adding lime (increasing the pH of the asbestos mixture to near 7 and resulting in information of calcium sulfates), (4) adding a lubricating and accelerating agent to the decomposed asbestos mixture, and (5) adding a pozzolanic material (resulting in solidification).

GILBERTSON 4,309,382 shows a single cup microwave drip-type coffee maker 10, FIG 4, having a lower filter element 26 for holding a premeasured amount of coffee grounds 28, and a non-toxic seal 34, FIG 2, which is displaced or melted at the brewing temperature for water 24.

HADDAD 4,617,157 shows compression of data where parsing is achieved in a single pass through the data, starting from a beginning character and separating off one character at a time (col 5, Ins 44-46). When a string of characters is parsed from an input data stream, the parsed string is extended by the next occurring character in the input stream to form an extended string which is encoded and stored in the compressor to be utilized for later encodings (col 5, Lns 34-39) (see FIG 1).

DEGUISSEPPE 4,309,078 independent claim 4 requires a cylindrical container with a tapered inner portion near the opening. The other independent claims 1, 7, and 8 mention a bead located on an annular depending wall on a sealing member.

HATAE ET AL 4,883,263 shows careful placement of masses (i.e., a driver 14, FIG 1 and sensors 16, that are independent of fluid density variations) such that the ratio of the resonant frequencies of oscillations about an axis B-B (driven by the driver 14) and oscillations about an axis A-A (caused by coriolis forces of a flowing fluid) remain constant regardless of the specific gravity of the flowing fluid. TABLE IV (col 9, Ins 50-55) shows experimental and measured results of the ratio of the resonant frequencies listed for water (specific gravity=1) and air (specific gravity=0).

GERMANY 1,234,757 shows a ball 12, FIG 2, guided by three ribs, restricted by stops 18 on the forward end and rests on a seat (in part 14), to close a flow passage in the rear end of the pressure head 6.
